- Remove three securing bolts from the underside of the fender
holding the taillight in place.
- Remove the stock black rubber welt from the taillight
housing.
- Cut chrome automotive door guard to length of removed black
rubber welt.
- Lay the new chrome piece in the sun or heat to ease
installation and starting at the bottom of the housing install
the chrome door guard in the reverse of the rubber removal.
Opinion: This is the best use of chrome door edge guard, and
should have been done by the factory.
